THE PERFECT
THEMED BABY SHOWER
We were approached to style the baby shower for a true teddy lover. We loved this idea and created a teddy bears' picnic themed baby shower. The baby shower was all styled around this concept with the details, table decorations, cakes and sweet treats all following the theme.
THE PERFECT VENUE
Spring, at Somerset House was the perfect venue for the theme. The private dining space sits off the main restaurant and feels truly special and unique. The room hold huge trees and a frosted glass ceiling making it feel bright and airy like an alfresco lunch. We worked with one long table for all the guests and styled the table as the main focus of the room.
THE EVENT DETAILS
A themed baby shower wouldn't be complete without all the special details. The table followed the picnic theme with rattan picnic basket style placemats and drinks coaster. We laid each place setting with a crisp white linen napkin, tied with twine and a teddy bear shaped namecard. As a mini favour for each guest there was a pot of honey and a gold chocolate bear sat proudly at each setting. As a fun personal idea we created a teddy bear display that guests could add to as a gift for the new baby. Holding a bunch of metallic balloons this was a lighthearted and playful addition to the room.
SWEET TREATS
As the perfect end to the meal guests indulged on the sweet treats at the cake table. A wonderful themed cake sat alongside styled iced biscuits to gave a delicious sugar hit. In addition, overflowing sweet bowls and vases were great for guests to pick at as well as take home for later.
