A fairytale wedding
THE WEDDING STYLE
The theme was ‘Happily Ever After’ therefore The Edit focused on romance, beautiful colours and intimate details.
This theme fitted perfectly for this Hampton Court Palace fairytale wedding. The bride Lisa, had studied Hampton Court Palace as part of her dissertation. This made the setting particularly special. The couple were also able to have an exclusive picture within the palace. This picture on the Queen's Staircase is only possible for winter weddings.
EVERY DETAIL
Every element of the wedding was taken care of. The Edit worked closely with the caterers to design a menu that fitted the ambience of the theme. Handwritten calligraphy invitations were also designed. Alongside these we featured calligraphy written name cards and table plan. Intricate beautiful floral table centres were placed on top of stacks of vintage fairytale books. These looked gorgeous on the tables and also showcased the couples' love of literature. These also worked so well with the fairytale wedding theme.
THE GUEST JOURNEY
Different zones were considered to enhance the flow of the evening with the DJ being downstairs in the Crypt. The colour theme extended across the day and fitted the grand surroundings well. As guests moved downstairs to the crypts we created a separate chill out area. This was a relaxed but inviting marquee built over the cobbles and filled with sofas and seats.
